| Favorite School Memory | When I was a student in Wm. Kellie's history class, I co-chaired a fundraiser for children in Tanzania and we sent items and money to that village. | About Me | I was a court reporter for over 20 years. I married in 1972, Joel and I have been happily married for 36 years. We have a beautuful daughter Casey J., who has a degree in Japanese language and culture, as well as a minor in poli sci from EMU. She is presently looking for work in Japan.I returned to EMU and received my undergraduate degree in special education and social studies, as an undergraduate honors student, in the 90's.. I was teaching in New Baltimore, when I had central nervous system vasculitis and strokes six years ago, causing paralysis, left peripheral blindness, etc. I am on social security disability but doing very well. I am a trustee at Temple Shir Shalom, as well as a delegate for the State Democratic Party and a field organizer for several districts in West Bloomfield for Obama for Change Campaign.
