Class of 1972
Air Force, 20+ Years
36 years working for the Air Force with 13 years of active duty. In 1972 enlisted in the Air Force with draft card in hand and as an aircraft maintainer I had the honor to work on KC-135, EC135, B-52, SR-71, U-2, F-4, FB-111, C-130 gunship and A-10 aircraft. Entered the civilian side of the Air Force as an acquisition program manager. Gained acquisition experience on B-1, T-38, C-130U, ICBM, JPATS, JSTAR, and F-16 weapon systems. Current position is Deputy Director for F-16 International Programs supporting 24 different US allies.

Served in the Kansas City, KS. National Guard starting in January '66. Called to active duty in May '68. Stationed in Ft. Carson, CO. Received orders and went to Vietnam in May '69. Returned to U.S. and civilian status, December '69.

I served in the navy for 8 years including Viet Nam. I got to travel all over the world. When I got out, I went to work for the navy as a civilian contrctor for 30 years. I retired in 2010.
