| About Me | Military/Linguistics. During my military time, I lived briefly in Hawaii and Japan and afterwards, in Europe, until returning to Japan in 1993 for my final three years of service. I have now lived in Japan for over 30-years. Since living in Japan, I have worked as an English and French teacher at computer and electronics company Fujitsu, where later, the Japanese government recruited me and I joined Japanese Civil Service as a licensed and certified Jr. High School English Teacher, as well as conducting occasional seminars at the Fujisawa Teacher Training Center (FTTC). I continued teaching for 9-years before moving on to take a job as a hotel manager. Unfortunately, the hotel was behind schedule, so I worked from home for one year as a newspaper columnist; writing about Japanese history and culture for an English language newspaper.
