| About Me | Went to college, fell in love, went to law school, got married, got a Cocker Spaniel, lived and worked in New Orleans, moved to North Carolina, started watching "The Sopranos," decided Cocker Spaniel was lonely and needed a buddy, got a Bernese Mountain dog, separated fights between two ungrateful mutts, started playing Fantasy Baseball, came to revere Chase Utley, discovered true BBQ, started running, had a son, in dramatic setting gave wife pretty ring for 10-year anniversary to compensate for engagement ring obtained from claw machine and presented on shag carpet in dingy New Orleans apartment, wife dropped new shiny ring, which rolled towards flaming firepit, sustained burns but saved ring, moved to Nashville, went to Grand Ole Opry, sat silently during Rascal Flatts set, moved back to North Carolina, told wife was tired of moving, had to pick one hospital and stay there, she said deal with it or I'll dump you for a hot male nurse, dealt with it, Assumed Tony Soprano was dead and downloaded Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" to iPod, looked into boarding schools for pre-K, ran 12 marathons, learned to surf with a dozen Japanese female tourists, learned to fly fish, put hip boots / waders on for first time since 6th grade, became obsessed about food, spent a mortgage payment on dinner in California, and then Chicago, and then Hawaii, and then New York, sought pr...(read more) |
