Favorite School Memory	Getting stuck in the elevator of the Empire State Bldg on our senior trip to NYC! The door opened and there was a 'brick wall'!
About Me	Attended college and grad school; teaching school since college graduation; traveled to Puerto Rico, St.Thomas, and Cancun while single; being an aunt to Tyler and Travis West; cruised to the Western Caribbean and Southern Caribbean; traveled to Ecuador and Galapagos (visited with 'Lonesome George'--the oldest living tortoise; crawled through lava tunnels; and took a boat excursion to Bartolome--'free of human footprints') during my visit with an exchange student we had at Linesville HS(awesome & would do again in a heartbeat); traveled to various parts of the US and Bahamas with my husband on business. In April 2010, I traveled to France with 21 fellow Grove City Alumni. We were in Paris, Nantes & the Loire Valley, and traveled to Mont St. Michel and up the coast to Omaha Beach in Normandy and the American Cemetery, and Armanche. Stopped at VersaIlles on our way back to Paris. The city is beautiful and included seeing Notre Dame, travelling on the Metro and the Bullet Train, and an evening boat cruise on the Seine; and a day at Sacre Coeur and Montemartre to visit the artists, just to name a few of our Paris/France highlights. Thanks to the volcanoe, our trip was extended providing us the opportunity to return to the Eiffel Tower and go to the TOP! My trip to France fulfilled the desire to visit there since MS French classes at South Side--I would do it again! I became grandmother to Noah and Nicholas; enjoy our pets; and am enriching students' futures. I retired in 2013 after 36 years in the classroom. Have been subbing and enjoy being with the students and seeing former colleagues and friends! I am sure there is much more to do and look forward to new experiences! We spent almost 3 weeks in Europe in 2019. We began in Amsterdam for a few days before embarking on our river cruise on the Rhine, Main, and Danube Rivers. We traveled through Germany, Austria and ended in Budapest, Hungary. We had a great time! Our departure day proved interesting. We found out our flight was cancelled!
