About	Suzan Wegman, 73, of Churubusco, passed away at 7:56 p.m., on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Parkview Whitley Hospital. She was born in Fort Wayne on October 17, 1944, to Hershel and Cleva (Byers) Case Sr. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne and graduated from South Side High School in 1963. Suzan married Dennis L. Wegman on August 31, 1963, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. She was a long-time waitress in Churubusco. She was well known as a server and cook at the H&O and the Blue Lake Cafe. She loved sewing-needlework, gardening, going to the casino and her three dogs, Odie, Charlotte and Izzy . Suzan is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dennis Wegman; two daughters, Lisa (Nicholas) Herron and Leslie Wegman; a son, Steve (Dwain Dunn) Wegman; a brother, Hershel (Sondra) Case Jr.; a sister, Martha (George) Sornberger; two grandchildren, Kaleb (Darah) Herron and Emily Herron. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hershel Case, Sr. and Cleva Case-Firestone; her stepfather Harry J. Firestone. Visiting hours will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on April 13, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Services will begin at 11:00 AM, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on April 14, 2018. Burial will follow at Eel River Cemetery, Allen County. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the family c/o Sheets & Childs Funeral Home.
