After earning a degree in film from NYU, Selzer-Lang reluctantly left NYC for Los Angeles, where she worked her way up from development executive to TV/film producer. When her then husband developed a life-threatening chronic disease, necessitating years in and out of hospitals, her priorities shifted to a career in service. She now works as a psychotherapist in private practice serving couples in crisis and individuals. She is AASECT-certified in sex therapy and practices integrative relational and sex therapy with partners of all kinds—monogamous and CNM. She is still enjoying Los Angeles, even with rising temps.
