Favorite School Memory	Football games, pep rallies, sock hops in the gym,hanging out with friends at lunchtime, an F from Ms. Dinning for each long fingernail in typing and shorthand class, Tri-Y Club, dances and school plays.
About Me	I graduated in 1963 from SF State College with a BA degree in Elementary Education. I taught third grade in SSF El Rancho School for two years, married Pat Pappas, and in 1964, moved to Sunnyvale and taught ithird grade in the Union School District in San Jose for one year. Our daughter Stephanie was born in 1966 and our son Dean was born in 1968. In 1968 we moved to my husband's home city and state, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I started teaching again in 1969 in Pine Bluff and retired after 34 years. In 1990 I earned my masters degree and left the regular classroom to became a facilitator in the Pine Bluff Gifted and Talented Program. My last 13 years in education were spent at GT teaching enrichment classes, coaching Quiz Bowl and Knowledge Masters and enjoying the students and the challenges thoroughly. We have raised and educated two wonderful children. Both are married, have childen and are doing very well.
