| About Me | I was born in San Antonio and life has been like an adventure -- so far it has taken me to Tucson, Tulsa, Alabama, Michigan, Dallas, Austin (area), Germany, Turkey, Mexico, Washington state, Alpine TX, El Paso, California, Denton TX, Arlington, and Waco -- it will be interesting to see where else the path leads. I've lost track of where all I've met people from -- there have been some interesting and incredible people and nicely enough a number of them are still in my life. I believe if you say hello to someone then maybe they cease to be a stranger -- possibly to become an acquaintance or a friend. I miss some of the people I've met over the years and maybe Facebook will be a place to reconnect with some of them. McDonald's [in Tulsa] was a neat place to be and the crew varied all the way from Tulsans to Texans to New Yorkers [Kevin Cokely, Steven Aldi, Michael Aldi, Marcia Higgins, etc.] to Inge [a second mom to several people there] to Victoria "Vic" Rouse [originally from Wisconsin] to the South Americans, to Abolfazl "Abby" Tobaee, and more. Stephen Aldi helped me get my next job -- thanks again Stephen. Working at Arby's [Tulsa] led to me meeting and getting to know some special people there too -- Kerry Myers, Baker, Allison, Katy, and more. Working for Sterling Foods Inc. [industrial bakery in San Antonio -- convinced me I wanted to get out of the heat]. I attended Sul Ross State University [1998 to 2002] and Texas Woman's University [2003 - 2004] -- I need to get out my yearbooks and look at them again. I received my bachelors degree [major History & minor Woman's Studies] and masters degree [Master of Library Science]. Now I'm hunting for a job in a library -- a place of enjoyment, growth, and education. One of my sister-in-laws told me I would meet friends any place I go -- I think she's right.
