About	The San Antonio Express News did a cover story on Hector and his fight with obesity over a four year period. His story was also featured on the TV show, The Doctors. His life was a series of yoyo dieting and he got down to 260lbs and had four surgeries to fix and repair his knees, which were extremely bow-legged. Hector was an absolute joy and loved by all who knew him. His nieces would climb all over him like a giant teddy bear. Personally, he brought so much laughter into my life that since his passing my world has become a darker place. He was one of a kind.
