Donald J. Gorga, 66, of Forks Township, PA, formerly of Old Bridge, Middlesex County, NJ, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, in New Eastwood. Born April 29, 1951, in Buffalo, NY, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary (Geraltowski) Gorga. He and his wife, Flo (Krainski) Gorga, celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on Sept. 25, 2017. Don retired as a supervisor for Federated Logistics, Secaucus, NJ. Previously, he worked for ShopRite Liquors, East Brunswick, NJ. He graduated from South River High School and attended Rider College. Don served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He also served with the Air Force National Guard in Desert Storm as a medic as the director of nursing services in Texas. Don was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed traveling and his Koi pond. He was of the Catholic faith. Don was a member of the American Legion, Old Bridge, NJ. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Flo, are two sons, Aaron M. Gorga of Hong Kong and Clinton M. Gorga and his wife, Concetta, of Millstone Township, NJ; a daughter, Lauren J. Scherer and her husband, Pete, of Alexandria Township, NJ; a brother, Henry Gorga, and four grandchildren, Ryan Swetits, Ava and Tyler Scherer and Gianna Gorga.
