About	RORY LARKIN AGE: 59 FORMERLY OF SOUTH RIVER Rory Larkin, formerly of South River, died unexpectedly at 59 years of age in Samarinda, Indonesia on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009. Rory was a graduate of South River High School, where he was a star athlete. He went on to Alfred State University in New York. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed at Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Air Station in Hawaii and at Port Hueneme Navy Base in California. Rory was employed with Gerhartz Industries and Sagatrade Corporation as a mechanical engineer. He specialized in hydraulics and robotics, which took him all over the world for projects that required his expertise. Rory is survived by his wife, Ani; daughters, Raquel and Veronica, and brother, Michael Larkin in Indonesia. He is also survived by his children, Conor, Kyle, and Shannon Gilles in California; by his mother, Pauline Woods Larkin, and his sisters, Veronica Larkin Balmat and Cathy Larkin Munday in Florida. Rory leaves many friends and relatives from New Jersey, Florida, Massachusetts, California, and throughout Asia. All will sadly miss Rory's larger-than-life presence, sense of adventure, and outgoing personality, especially Veronica Woods, his Aunt and Godmother. He was remembered with a private burial in Samarinda on August 7, 2009.
