About Me	Married, moved across the country, raised family, home schooled my kids, lectured at community colleges. In 1978 R. David Lawrence, Sensei began giving martial art scholarships to deserving youth across the country (in various styles that Lawrence, Sensei formerly taught). Lawrence, Sensei writes books explaining the paradigm of mastery to expand the awareness of the benefits of martial art instruction. He explains that martial arts offer a wide array of benefits such as mental stimulation, physical cultivation, and social companionship.
