About	After graduation, David proudly served in the Navy for four years. In 1969, David was on combat duty in Vietnam. He was a Boatswain Mate, 2nd Class and he crossed the line on a Navy ship from a pollywog to a Shellback. Unknown to most, David sang professionally at Weddings , funerals and private functions. He was a sail maker and owned "Custom Canvas" in South Portland and later retired from Hannaford Bros. RIP David!
