About Me	My full name is Elwood Travis Baker. I prefer to be called by my middle name, “Travis”. I am from here in Lenoir County, born and raised with its soil in my blood. I am retired from the U.S. Army, Lenoir County 911 Center with multiple disabilities. This was done at a very, young stage in my life causing much grief. I have learned the hard way and through the love of my Lord Christ overcome much. I am a cancer survivor. I enjoy the love and care of my family. I am a grandfather of a boy and a girl. I have two children whom I love very much. Family is the centerpiece of life. I am a proud graduate of South Lenoir High School, year 1976.
