About Me	Moved to Australia in 1971, spent a short time on the mainland then moved to Tasmania in late 1972 and have been since that time. My wife, Janice English (class of '64) have been married 56 years and counting. Life has been good for us here and we will live out the rest of our days in Tassie. I taught Industrial Arts at the HighSchool level from 1971 - 1985. After teaching went back to do a two year degree in furniture making and started a business designing and making custom furniture. I enjoyed this occupation for 34 years and still have my workshop to continue making various things in my retirement. During our life here I have built, with help, two houses for us to live in. Our current home is my renovated furniture showroom with my workshop just out the kitchen door. I keep in touch with other fellow '61 grads...(read more)
