| About Me | Its been an interesting trip through the "Journey of Life" From high school to Bakersfield Jr. Colege where the band traveled to San Francisco for a half -time show in the Fall of 1969, bus made a stop and a few returned to the bus that Friday night with flowers in their hair.. crazy historical time. I was drafted into the U.S. Army Jan. 1971, had a 2 year commitment. I auditioned for and was assigned to the 323rd U.S. Army Band of the Surgeon General. Stationed at Broke Army Medical Center an incredible experience. Honorably discharged in 1971, I returned to Bakersfield and completed my education at CSUB.
