| About Me | After High School I went to Whitworth College for 2 years where I played varsity football for one of those years. I moved to Merced in 1986 where I played one year at Merced College. I had several jobs, mostly labor related after college. I worked for the City of Merced for 10 years from 1990 t0 2000. In 2001 I considered moving back to Bakersfield but after 6 months decided it was not the place for me and my family. I moved back to Merced completed my AA in Addictictive Studies/ Human Services and went to work as a Personal Service Coordinator for an agency providing Intense Case Management to 140 of the most severe cases of homeless mentally ill in Stanislaus County. During this time I was certified to be an Adult Supporter with the California Youth Connection. I have been a Non-Credit Instructor at Merced College for 4 years. My wife and I just celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary, we've been together for 19 years. We are raising 2 beautiful, intelligent and empowered daughters.
