1973-1986 served in U. S. Air Force as a security policeman-Staff Sergeant; then followed into the California Army National Guard from 1994 to 2002 as a wheeled and tracked vehicle repairer, Staff Sergeant, retiring in March 2002, 20 years honorable service. In 2003-2004, served in a role as a private civilian/military Coalition Forces Government Contractor for US, NATO, and multi-national forces in the Baghdad, Iraq theater-of-war, as well as a private contractor for the US Army in Doha, Qatar, summer of 2003.

I served in the army fro 1980 to 1990, as an M60 and M1 tank gunner. I did this for 6 yrs. serving with the 2nd Armor Division, 1st Cavalry Division and the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. I was reclassified to a Tank Turret Repairer after loosing my hearing. Became an E-7 (Sergeant First Class) and became a Platoon Sergeant. I was medically discharged after falling off a tank during Desert Storm.
