Served as an XO, Commander of a Rapid Deployment Force Detachment, Installation Training Officer, Military Intelligence Field Station Adjutant, Counterintelligence Battalion Adjutant, 2nd Armor Division Deputy Adjutant General, Group XO, III Corps G1/TAC Forward, served from '78 (2LT) to '92 (Major). Took early retirement after Desert War 1.

Karen Inks O'Connor

Navy, 20+ Years
Served as a cryptologic technician for the first 17 years, predominently overseas. Then when women were allowed to go to sea on combatants, served in ships in Hawaii and San Diego. Deployed to support Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and served as the Force Master Chief for the Surface Navy as her last tour. Retired in 2006 with 26+ years of service.

Our South High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our South High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Fargo are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
