South Gwinnett High Alumni Let's Show Our Heroes Over Seas Our Blue and Grey Spirit

Helo My South Gwinnett High Family,

I know its been over 31 years now since I walked through the hal of my beloved high school.

As a matter of fact, last week I almost ran off the road when I past by 'My old high school'. Little can I recollect from 1980.

All I could do is skint my eyes and try to think back to the days when I was 'The Big Man On Campus' ! Understand, we all were either a big man or woman on campus , as seniors...I was just like everyone else.

So, I want to challenge my classmates of '1980', and classes before, or after mine, to do something special.

Trust me, if you cut me today, even after 31 years away from my graduation from SGHS, I will still bleed 'Blue and Grey' !

However, most of our Americans who are protecting our country over seas, BLEED RED !

So, I want to show the world how The Comets can come together, in an attempt to leave a streak of light that is falling from space, in order to shine some love to our military brother and sisters, who are now in need of some home style comfort.

I challenge each and every class who are the graduates of SGHS, to show everyone around the world, how much more we are a family, than a schoolmate.


www.herobox.org is a special non-profit organization that was created to show these brave men and women, that we have not forgotten what they are doing everyday...

Homecoming 2010

South Gwinnett High School is trying to make homecoming really big this year. We are trying to get as many alumni as posible to come to the game this year. We are also trying to make make an alumni football section, and alumni cheerleader section, and an alumni band section to be recognized at half time. We are playing Grayson this year for homecoming and we want A LOT of support there. Homecoming this year will be October 22, 2010. Please contact Lindsey Rowland Chambers for more info. Thank you!
