About Me | There is only one reason why I am who I am, and that reason is that at some point in my life God has changed my life in an amazing and powerful way! I’m simply here to share with you the truth and the LOVE that has been shared with me. You see, GOD is REAL in my heart and in my life. We can argue about politics and differences in beliefs, but the truth is that I know in my own heart that God has His hand on my life and there is no argument that you could ever bring up that would change my mind about that! God has given me more grace and love than I could ever deserve. He sent His one and only son, Jesus, to suffer a horrible death to take on my sins and “wipe the slate (my slate) clean” in Gods eyes. When Jesus died on the cross He had YOU in mind! You were not even born yet but God knew everything about you even before you ever existed. Too many people think that God is a distant, intangible being that doesn’t really notice the things that they do or the person they are or the troubles they face, but the truth is that God knows EVERYTHING about you and he loves you right where you are at, right now! It’s unfortunate that too many people go through their entire lives never realizing that God really cares about them. I'm definately not perfect, and I’m so thankful that God doesn’t say, “You need to be a perfect Christian before I’ll start loving you!” He loves us right where we are, just the way we are! The Bible says that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. It is this TRUTH that I hold on to and that I can know that God loves you and me for who we are! But that’s not all! God’s love goes beyond all that. God also cares about our lives day to day. Not just a one time thing, but day in and day out He wants to spend time with us and have a relationship with us. How can we have a relationship with God? It’s real simple… Just like any other relationship in life you have to have communication. And the way you communicate with God is simply through prayer. There is no magical recipe for a “good prayer”. All you have to do is talk to Him as if you were talking to a friend. Tell God what’s on your heart. Tell Him what’s troubling you. Ask Him for guidance in all the things you do. Tell him your worries and fears. Thank him for all the good things in your life. One great thing about God is that He is available to us at any moment, any time, any place. Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, whatever you are going through, He is waiting there simply to be with you and to spend time with you. All you have to do is call on Him and ask Him to take control of your daily situations and let Him...(read more) |
