Heavy hearted to announce the death of an old friend from bleeding issues associated with metastasized lung cancer. George was a good man.

George was my first and greatest husband. Left him after 7 yrs of marriage in order to “find myself.” Help me. Went to Colorado and proceeded to live my single life . . . George was SO SMART. Probably very high IQ. We talked for hours in the fishbowl at U of O when first getting well acquainted. Very kind soul. Going to U. Of VA in Charlottesville to pursue his PhD in early-modern history was very hard on our marriage. . .

George was in some of my classes, my memory of him was that he was a gentle kind & considerate person. He was a big guy but was friendly with me & some of others I spent time with. Sending prayers of love & comfort to all those that enjoyed having him in their lives.
