About Event
We are accepting donations to cover the cost of Park Rental/Beer Permit and for expenses for those that ask for reimbursement for picking up supplies. Cost of Park Rental/Beer Permit is ($310 and of that, $100 for deposit). If we do a good job of cleaning up & being prompt, the park will reimburse the $100 deposit to Jack Mahnke '70. Anything left over will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charity (last year $280 was donated to St. Josaphat’s Food Pantry – THANK YOU, Cardinals)!

We need to be cleaned up & out by 4. They lock up promptly at 4:00 p.m.
Shelter entrance/parking only accessible if you enter off of 51st Street. There’s a dead end off Edgerton Ave. and no access coming thru the park from Layton Ave.)
BYO MEAT to grill and bring a DISH to pass (see below, also). We provide the grill and the grillers.
BYO beverages. We’ll have some Bottled Water & Beer! Permit allows for beer & wine.
Bring SDHS memorabilia if you have any.
We’ll have supplies of Bottled Water, Beer, Ice, receptacles with ice for food that needs to be kept cold. We’ll have a grill and grillers, music, coolers with ice, picnic tables, and buffet tables set up. We’ll also have plastic cups, paper plates, napkins, paper towel, plastic cutlery and plastic serving utensils. The Shelter has a small kitchen area with electrical service, small refrigerator, sink & microwave oven that we have access to. There will be picnic tables and folding tables for buffet items. It also has restrooms. We can set up early, but the road access up to the shelter is closed & does not open until promptly at 10:00 a.m. You can park in the parking lot & maybe bring your things in on a hand truck/dolly or wait until the access road opens at 10:00 a.m. There is definitely NO PARKING at the shelter. You may drive up to the shelter (after 10:00 a.m.) and drop off, and then go park your car. We can’t all drive up at once, either. If dropping off, please do so in an orderly fashion. Clean up should be organized likewise.
When you arrive, check-in at the front tables and get your name tag.

We’re less than 2 weeks away of this exciting reunion. PLEASE RSVP as soon as possible (reply to this E-mail). The Planning Committee made much progress with supplies & getting the word out. We’d like to have adequate supplies on hand. If you know of any GRADUATES from SDHS ’68-’72 that are not in our Facebook group, E-mail list or Classmates.com, please let them know we’re having a reunion for those years. Please also ask that they RSVP!
