About	JoAnn was born on September 21, 1946, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Lester and Lorraine (Bartels) Krogmann. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from South Division High School. After her schooling, JoAnn was united in marriage to Raymond Lewis. The two welcomed a daughter, Tamara, and Raymond passed away [killed in Vietnam, USMC] shortly after in 1968. JoAnn later married Maurice “Mickey” Gilbert on November 23, 1969, in Milwaukee and they enjoyed many years of marriage together, completing their family with a son, Lance. Maurice passed away in 1993. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband(s), Raymond Lewis and Maurice Gilbert, her parents, and her godmother, Addeline Murowski. JoAnn loved her children dearly. JoAnn worked as a school secretary for the Eagle Elementary School for 30+ years and she greatly enjoyed her career.
