I meant to say that many people don’t know about our joy ride escapades ! I should add that I eventually got caught and put on probation which almost kept me out of the Navy. Mike and Dale eventually got caught also for taking a car across the state line and crashing it into a gas station during a high speed chase. They were arrested and charged with a felony. That maybe saved their lives as it prevented them from joining the military during the Vietnam debacle

I grew up practically in the Muhich household.
Gay and I went to our first prom together in 1961. Her brother Michael was a close friend of mine throughout our teen years. Not many people know this, but Mike, Dale Hoppe and I used to swipe cars and take them on
“ joy rides “ but usually returned them close to the owners home not damaged. Gary Weyer
