I remember Jim as a squared away guy and were on the varsity football team together. Coincidentally, he joined the Navy and retired as a Lieutenant Commander! Being squared away I believe is a Navy figure of speech and I suspect James fit the mould during his tenure as an officer and presumably a gentleman
