| About Me | My family left Hollywood just as I was going into middle school. I attended Hollywood Hill Elementary, Colbert Elementary and Central Elementary. I am a retired newspaper editor, the mother of three and grandmother of 8. Four of my grandchildren are by birth and four are by marriage. One of the grands by marriage is now a registered nurse. My 3 children are Ward (married to Dena), Mitch (married to Rebekah) and Miloy (married to Chad). I call all them my children. My grandchildren are Bradley, Ariel, Hope, Keaton, Lanny and Trenton (in order of age, starting with the oldest). Also I have 9 cats. My patio is filled with beautiful felines. My last old cat ,Amy, died July 2, 2011, at age 14. Three kittens joined the family just before she died. I say it took 3 to take Amy's place. They are all my 4-legged children.
