| About Me | cycled from LA to Santa Cruz, taught in Australia, ran marathon, caught dorado and wahoo in Mexico, walleye and pike in Canada, salmon on the Rogue and in Alaska, steelhead on the Deschutes, certified mastergardener, FAUAI scuba diver, outdoor school director, tenor/bass- barbershop harmoneers, jumped from an airplane at 10,000 ft, broke and rode 2 Arab horses, trained bus drivers for the city of Bend, rafted the Grand Canyon Colorado River, ate freshly roasted rattlesnake, hunted for elk and deer with a bow, learned to play accordion, some banjo, guitar, and piano, took dancing lessons and a year of karate, read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Created an heirloom/hybrid apple orchard on my acreage. Hitchhiked across Britain,Scotland and Europe. Hiked portions of Pacific Crest Trail. Rock climbed in Yosemite. Hiked the Appalachians. Taught eighth grade on an Indian Reservation, skied Squaw Valley, Heavenly, Alpine Meadows, Sun Valley Idaho and call Mt.Bachelor home. Hiked 9 days in the Swiss Alps, Austria, Bavaria and quenched my thirst at the Munich October Fest. Hiked Zion National Park, little Big Horn Battlefield, Custer State Park, Shrine of Democracy, raced in the Stowe Derby in Vermont, backpacked from Montana into Canada.
