| About Me | Fifty years ago, who would have thought that a girl who couldn’t stand me at Sonora High would end up being the love of my life? My wife (Alexis Reamer Healton) and I are so excited to celebrate Sonora’s 50th with all of you. It's been quite a ride since we left those halls—we’ve been happily married for 46 years as of August 2025. My career path has been a bit of a winding road. After attending Fullerton College and Cal State Fullerton, I earned degrees in computer engineering and theology. I’ve worn many hats over the years, including serving as a police officer, a computer engineer, a college professor, and a Pastor. Today, I'm finding my way back to where it all began: performing magic shows. Outside of our being retired (no such thing), my wife and I are authors, and I've even written a screenplay based on one of our books in hopes of getting it made into a movie. I've also had a couple of radio shows and am currently working on a new TV show for a new network. And, just to keep things interesting, I'm also waiting for a patent to be approved for one of my inventions. These days, I’m medically retired and enjoying the best job of all: babysitting our grandkids. It's almost a full-time gig, especially now that our daughter has just graduated with her RN, she has 3 of our grandkids. Our son is also doing great, serving as a Sergeant in the Army while working as a probation officer, and he and his wife are expecting their first child.
