WESTON — Loretta Ann Lorusso, recently in Weston, formally of Vienna, Austria, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at the age of age 51.
Mrs. Lorusso grew up in Somerville, Mass. She earned a concert degree in piano from Giuseppe Verdi Conservatorio in Milan, Italy. She was a 1978 graduate of Smith College in Northampton. She was a piano professor since 1995 at Vienna Konservatorium, and children’s music director at Musik Schule in Pressbaum, Austria, as well as a piano teacher of private students throughout her career.
She was the loving mother of Emanuel Georg Lorusso, daughter of Francis George Lorusso and the late Catherine (Bombara) Lorusso, and stepdaughter of M. Nancy (Tuccero) Lorusso.
She was the sister of Christine and Paul Hendrickson of Boxford, David and Coralia Lorusso of Huntersville, N.C., and Stephen and Esther Lorusso of Weston.
