Air Force, 20+ Years
Proudly served 20 years 6 months in the USAF. Career was in Aircraft Operations Fighter Jet, mostly with the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Last assignment was working with Special Ops, 82 Airborne out of Ft. Bragg, NC. Retired in Florida in 1996.

Left for Navy bootcamp in Orlando, FL a week after high school graduation. After bootcamp graduation, I attended Air Traffic Controller "A" school in Millington, TN. My first duty station was NAS Brunswick, ME. After 3 years in Maine, I left for San Diego, CA. On the way, I attend Carrier Air Traffic Control Center "CATTC" C school. I was then stationed on San Clemente Island, off the coast of CA. I was Honorably Medically Discharged In Feb.1996. I met my husband while stationed in Maine. We were married in 1994. He retires in August 2011, with 20 years as a Navy Air Traffic Controller.
