About Me	I had a full-time position at Leiss Tool & Die right out of high school. I worked there for about 9 more months before getting laid off. I found a part time job at Somerset 911 as a dispatcher. I also went to EMT classes and landed a part time EMT position at Somerset Ambulance. Got called back to Leiss but really liked these jobs so I declined the offer at Leiss. I eventually went on to be a paramedic and worked at various ambulance services throughout the county. I ended a 9 year career as a supervisor at 911 and took a Police Communications Operator position on April 15, 2002 at PSP-Somerset. I worked there and took online college course to get 60 college credits at which time I applied for and got accepted into the PSP Academy. I graduated in May of 2008 and have been stationed at barracks in Carlisle, Indiana, Somerset (county detail) and I am currently at the Somerset barracks on the Turnpike. Through my jobs over the years I've been part of the tornadoes in Salisbury, 09-11-01, Quecreek Mine Rescue, 2008 National Governors Association (NGA) summit in Philadelphia, Eric Frein Manhunt, Baltimore Riots, Pope visit in Philedelphia, US Open at Oakmont, escort the POTUS and two governors. I am still a firefighter and currently hold the position of Fire Chief. I teach part fire and rescue classes time through Bucks Co Commun...(read more)
