About	Sandra "Sandy" E. Curt., 64, of Billerica formerly of Somerset passed away unexpectedly on Monday January 27, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Fall River the daughter of the late Gerald and Mary (Fleck) Curt. Sandy was a graduate and four sport varsity athlete at Somerset High School class of 1967. She continued to be a four sport standout athlete at Northeastern University until she graduated with a teaching degree in 1971. Ms. Curt earned her Master's Degree in Education from Cambridge College in 1977. Sandy taught Physical Education and coached varsity field hockey, basketball and softball, at Lexington High School for thirty years until her retirement in 2008. She was awarded "Coach of the Year" numerous times by the Boston Globe in all three sports she coached. Ms. Curt was the first female inducted into the Somerset High School Hall of Fame. She also was inducted into the Northeastern University and Lexington High School Hall of Fames. Survivors are two sisters: Susan T. Cote and her husband Greg of Bridgewater, MA; Kim A. Parker of New Bedford, MA; two brothers: Jay Curt and his wife Mary of Sneads Ferry, NC; Steven Curt and his wife Kathy of Cranston, RI; two nieces: Lindsey Greeley and Cady Parker; a nephew: Andrew Parker all of New Bedford, MA; and her dog Buddy.
