About	NOVEMBER 19, 1983 – APRIL 27, 2014 egan K. (Carey) Leary, age 30, of Swansea formerly of Somerset, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Woman and Infants Hospital in Providence after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of Justin E. Leary. She was born in Fall River, the daughter of E. Michael Carey of Swansea and Jean (McHenry) Carey of Somerset. Megan was a graduate of Somerset High School class of 2001, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of Rhode Island in 2005 and received her Master’s Degree from Simmons College in Special Education. Mrs. Leary was a Special Education Teacher for South Coast Education Collaborative in Swansea for seven years. She enjoyed playing the violin in the Fall River Symphony Orchestra and private venues. She also enjoyed going to the beach. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by a brother Ryan P. Carey of Somerset, her maternal grandmother Elizabeth Burdge of Somerset; a god daughter Korrin Cosme, her dog Guinness and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
