About	Paul M. LeComte, age 88, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Somerset Ridge Center. He was the husband of Dorothy G. (Harrington) LeComte to whom he has been married for the past 64 years. Born in Somerset, a son of the late J. Williston and Marie E. (Surprenant) LeComte, he lived in Somerset for many years, before moving to Lakeland, Florida in 1988 returning back to Somerset in 2013. A graduate of Somerset High School, class of 1944, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bryant University in 1950. A Veteran of the United States Army Air Corps, he served during World War II as Corporal and was the recipient of the Army Occupation Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He was a former member of the Somerset Advisory and Finance Committee, the Fall River Lodge of Elks and the American Legion Somerset Post 181. He was a past Commodore of the Somerset Yacht Club and organized many sailboat races. An avid boater, his happiest times were spent out on the water sailing with his family. He also had a passion for classic movies and had an extensive collection which aired weekly at Somerset Ridge and was known as Classic Movies with Paul at the Ridge. Mr. LeComte owned Paleco Supply for twenty years as a Distributor for Wynn Oil Company winning many awards for market penetration. Previous to that he had a successful career as a sales representative with the Celanese Paint Company. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: David P. LeComte and his wife Claudia of Somerset, Ronald F. LeComte of Annapolis, MD, two daughters: Dorothy A. Auclair and her husband Denis of Somerset, Margaret M. LeComte and her husband Peter of Bedford, NY, one brother: Robert W. LeComte of Somerset, one sister: Aline Potvin of Swansea, six grandchildren: Tracy Blake, Jenny Senra, Joseph and Matthew Auclair, Peter and Chloe LeComte, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Norm and J. and Louis G. LeComte.
