Donna (Massey) Gell, 64, of Somerset, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2010. She was the wife of forty-three years to Robert A. Gell.
Donna was born in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of the late Albert W. and Margaret (Read) Massey. She graduated from Tolman High School in Pawtucket class of 1964 and then went on to graduate with a teaching degree from UMASS Amherst class of 1968.
Mrs. Gell was a devoted Physical Education and Health Teacher for the Somerset School Department for over thirty years. She began teaching at Somerset High School and later at the Chace Street and North Elementary Schools for the majority of her career.
Survivors besides her husband are a daughter, Kristen M. Lord of Somerset, MA; a son, Robert W. Gell of Castle Hayne, NC; a sister, Cynthia A. Butterworth of North Kingston, RI; her six loving grandchildren, Blakely, Hannah, Sawyer, Christopher, Madelyn and Barrett.
