About	JULY 22, 1959 – MARCH 16, 2010 ichard Coatsworth Mullen, age 50, of Somerset passed on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at home, surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was born in Fall River the son of Robert T. Mullen Sr. and Helen (Coatsworth) Mullen of Somerset. A lifelong resident of Somerset, Mr. Mullen was a graduate of Somerset High School and he also graduated first in his class from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Textile Engineering. Mr. Mullen was employed for many years as a Textile Engineer with Quaker Fabric in Fall River until its’ closing. As a devoted and loving father, he took great joy in spending time with his boys. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, gardening, and designing and making his own furniture. Surviving in addition to his parents are his two sons, Richard C. Mullen Jr. and Sean Patrick Mullen both of Somerset, one brother Robert T. Mullen Jr. of Somerset, three sisters Debra L. Mullen of Brockton, Susan M. Bayliss of Midlothian, VA and Jacqueline E. Mullen of Pari, Italy, seven nieces and nephews and one great nephew.
