About Jeanne N. "Joan" (Bilodeau) Auclair, 84, of County St., Somerset, formerly of Riverside Ave. died at home, Wednesday, December 8, 2004, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Fernand C. E. Auclair;

Born in Methuen, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (Nolet) Bilodeau, she resided in Somerset, MA most of her life.

A graduate of Somerset High School, Class of 1938 and the former Thibodeau Business College, she assisted her husband in the administration of Auclair's Market, County St., Somerset for many years.

She was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church, Swansea and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of the Parish. Active in the Girl Scouts, she attained the rank of Golden Eaglet in 1938 and served thereafter as a Girl Scout Leader and Volunteer. She was a past member and volunteer of the Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC) and a charter member of the Classy Ladies Club.

Besides her husband of 59 years, survivors include

3 daughters, Louise J. Amaral and her husband Alan of Somerset, Judith A. Hodge and her husband Paul of Seekonk, and Marie A. Panek and her husband Paul of Reading, MA;

4 sons, Robert B. Auclair, Fernand C. E. "Skip" Auclair, Jr. and his wife Barbara and Denis J. Auclair and his wife Dorothy, all of Somerset and David J. Auclair and his wife Evangelina "Vangy" of Rehoboth, MA.

12 grandchildren, Jared, Justin and Vanessa Amaral, Megan, Daniel, Joseph and Matthew Auclair, Brendan, Brian and Ashley Hodge and Louis and Amelia Panek.

She was the sister of the late Dr. Leonard N. Bilodeau.
