About	1936 - 2021 udith Marie (Medeiros) Ferry, age 84, passed away peacefully February 2, 2021 due to a long battle with Alzheimers at Marion Manor in Taunton, Ma. Judy was born (1936) in Fall River, Massachusetts to the late Louis J. & Mary (Rego) Medeiros. She grew up in Somerset graduating from Somerset High School with the class of 1954. She married her love Bill (the late William Rodger Ferry Sr.) and settled in Dighton (1962) and raised their family on a self-sufficient farm during their 49 years of marriage. Judy earned her Associate Degree in Business from Bristol Community College and worked at Ad-A-Day Company and Business Inc. in Taunton, MA where she made very dear friends. Judy loved to love people and the simple things in life, following Mother Marys example of grace to the fullest. She loved nature, gardening, skating, boating, music, and dancing. She led the Dighton Concerned Citizens, participated in St. Peters Womans Guild and taught Sunday School, she later joined Grace Gospel Church and held many prayer groups and taught family faith. What she loved most was inspiring children that there is never a dull moment. She would be her happiest at the familys large gatherings. Judy is survived by her sister Theresa Correira; her sister in-law Arline DeSilva; and her eight children & spouses: Beverly & James Pacheco; Judith & Douglas Cummings; Brenda Ferry; William & Bonny Ferry Jr; Bernadette & Jay Berube; Thomas & Stacy Ferry Sr.; Janet & Matthew Geraigery; and Joseph Ferry. She leaves quite a legacy that she loved and adored with 20 grandchildren, and spouses and 15 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Judy has prepared to join in heaven with her husband Bill; her brother Louis A. Medeiros; daughter Cheryl Ferry; Manuel Correira (brother-in-law); and many others who have gone before.
