About	Jeannette M. (Labreche) Sherman, 86, died Sun. Feb 10th at the Nevins Nursing Centre in Methuen after battling Parkinson’s disease for nearly 30 years.Jeannette was born in Fall River, MA, and married her high school sweetheart, Roger, after graduating from Somerset High School. Jeannette and Roger were together during Roger’s WW II service in the US Navy, his engineering degree work at Durfee Technical College; employment at Oakridge Atomic Power Plant in TN and Grumman Aerospace Development in NY. They moved to Salem, NH in 1969 when Roger started his employment with Sanders Assoc. Microwave in Manchester, NH. Jeannette, a busy mother of 4 children, was a talented artist who worked in both oil and water color mediums. She also enjoyed collecting antiques, cooking, sewing, knitting and braiding and hooking rugs. Jeannette and Roger remained close to their parents and siblings and shared many memorable events and occasions together. Jeannette developed a successful career in dog grooming while residing in Salem and regretfully retired due to her advancing illness. Jeannette was a resident of the Nevins Nursing Center for 10 years. Jeannette’s family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to all the staff at the Nevins who cared for her and made a home for her and for the support given to her family during this difficult time. The family also sincerely thanks the Merrimack Valley Hospice for the additional support provided during Jeannette’s last days. Jeannette was predeceased by her husband Roger Sherman; at long last they will be reunited.
