About	J. Morgan Biastoff of Somerset passed away Wednesday, June 28th after a long illness. He was the son of the late Joseph F. Biastoff and the late Mary P (Morgan) Biastoff. Morgan lived in Somerset most of his life having worked 38 years for the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services. Away from work he played guitar, harmonica and sang lead vocals in local bands including “Midnight Kitchen”. He was also known for his love of the water and the out doors, for fishing and lobstering, also golfing and his love of cooking for family and friends before any occasion. Many days in his retirement he could be found on Charlrod Street holding meetings with the Mayoral Concil. Morgan was a 1967 graduate of Somerset High School and a graduate of Westfield State. He is survived by a son, Morgan J. Biastoff and his wife Brianne of Lowell, a daughter, Mary Grace Biastoff of Springfield; a brother Jeffrey M. Biastoff and his wife Kathie of Somerset; two grandchildren, Sasha and Morgan; as well as cousins and other extended family.
