About	John Pereira III, age 75, of Fall River, passed away on Friday November 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Theresa (Oliveira) Pereira, and son of the late John Jr. and Alice (Silvia) Pereira. John was a member of Somerset High School class of 1961, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a retired custodian for Durfee High School and Globe Manufacturing for 20 years. While serving stateside he drove for former President Eisenhower’s funeral, was a member of VFW Post 5392, AMVETS Post MA 0060, and the American Legion Post 0228. John also enjoyed dancing, traveling, golfing and sports. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: John Pereira IV, and Karen Sullivan (husband Sean), godchild: Debra Couturier, an uncle and several cousins.
