| About Me | Born in France. Came to the U.S. in 1954. Family was one of the last ones tp pass through Ellis Island. LL Baseball, Boy Scouts, played in a Rock Band. Average student. U.S. Navy 1968-1972 30 years Restaurant Business. N.Y. College of Health Profession 1971-1974. A.O.S. Degree in Medical Massage. Moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2006 to be near our one daughter. Taught at a School of Massage Therapy 2 years. Physicians Medical Centers for 7 years. Treating MVA's injuries. Hip replacement surgery 8/14, made me retire two years early as I could no longer due, 3-12 hour shifts a week. Have lost $700 a month in doing so. Have my own outcall Massage Therapy Business, which is very hit and miss. Also do care giving work from time to time. Waiting to hear about when I'll be starting Dialysis. Have tried to find Volunteer work but they want you to commit for long periods of times. Then I joined a VFW Hall. Went there on a Saturday morning, 10 am and I was greeted by about a dozen guys and two women drinking Beer and mixed drinks and of course, the "Leader" wasn't to be found. I'm still looking, especially for P/T work for some more income, but with eventually having to do Dialysis, 3x a week and being restricted as to much weight I can pick up, is not going to be easy but, I'm tired of living a Ground Hog Day type of Life, Having beyond Cabin Fever and getting rid of this on and off pity party I've been in.
