Served in Panama, Task Force Ripper in Desert Storm, Somalia, Okinawa, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Currently in law enforcement in Kentucky.

Began my military career in 1982 as a Admin Specialist. I spent 3 years on active duty. In 1988, I graduated from the North Carolina Military Academy and was commissioned as a 2LT. In 1991, I went to the 1st Gulf War and 2003, I served in Jordan and Kuwait in Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2005, I retired from the North Carolina National Guard at the rank of LTC. It was a great ride for 23 years.

Our Smithfield-selma High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Smithfield-selma High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
