| About Me | Traveled around the world six times. Actually, I've led a colorful, full life. Military, music, meeting folks from all over, including some from movie and music fame and President Jimmy Carter as well as his brother Billy. Had meals with several stars too!! I think meeting Patrick Swayze on the set of North and South was my highlight in Natchez, MS!!! He offered me a job as "extra", but, I was still active duty military and had to leave the next day. Pissed me off!!! LOL At least we conversed for at least 45 minutes!!!! But, Breakfast with Willie Nelson in Biloxi, MS is way up on my list too,(twice) as well as breakfast with James Woods in New Orleans at Café Dumond!!! Great...hap chance meetings. Memories I will never forget. Was on stage playing music with several folk too...(old timers cause it was a long time ago)...sang with Stella Parton (Dolly's sister), was on stage with Johnny Rodriguez, The Bellamy Brothers, Tommy Jennings (Waylon's brother), Bonnie Owens, Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, Freddy Fender and several others. I ran in to Merle Haggard in a parking lot at the Edgewater Mall in Biloxi, ran in to Lionel Richie in the same mall, Whoopi Goldberg at her "get away" friends home in Gulfport, MS and even Bobbi Gentry (Ode to Billy Joe) in Sedalia.
