Laurie passed on August 15, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her eyes sparkled when she laughed. She had a wicked sense of humor and would spread laughter wherever she went. If you knew her, you would agree. If you were fortunate to have her as a close friend, you were extremely blessed. We were friends since we met in 6th grade. Oh the shenanigans we got ourselves into all those years. Then we moved on to college and were roommates too. As time went on we both eventually moved back to the area and found ourselves living only a few miles from each other. We never know how much time we have, but I’m so very grateful that I had all those years of her friendship. Miss you dearly my friend!!
