My recollection of Mr. Call is that he very graciously tolerated this bunch of “knuckleheads “ and kept trying to improve our physical condition at the same time.
He was a kind man and a good man to have as a teacher at time when a “ level head” was the correct influence. RIP , Sir.

Mr. Call was my physical education teacher in the 11th grade. I enjoyed his class, and he always had a good work out which prepared his students well for the endurance events.
