| About Me | After ten years in retail and retail sales management I have been working for Columbus Community Center as an Instructor Advisor where I work with people with a broad variety of individuals with disabilites and rehab situations including working with youth at risk, drug and alcohol rehab, TBIs (traumatic brain injuries), people out of prison and more. I train people in a broad range of areas from job acqusition to job maintainance and more. My job iob is basically getting them back into society including various sexual and drug offenders. For this job I have learned enough ASL (American Sign Language) to get by, become an American Red Cross Instructor, a Certified Fork Lift Instructor and more. I have taught clients/students to do everything from post mortem clean-up to drive a front-end loader to shovel horse manure. I have been married to the former Sandra Bowers of Dugway, Utah for over 30 years, raised 5 children ranging from currently 16 to 29. I have remained an active member of the LDS church and have served in a variety of positions my favorite of which was nursery worker for 3 years. I served a mission in South Africa and have been to several other countries including Italy, Greece, Jerusalem, Switzerland and England. I have continued in my music, writing and working planning activities in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Genres through the Conduit Convention group. I teach for the Red Cross as a volunteer instructor for all forms of CPR and AED and first aid.
