| About Me | Some portions copied from my resume because I don't have time to re-invent the wheel: As this is one very creepy society, I do not acknowledge even the existence of living close family members, both naked-apes and fur-babies, for their protection. My father grew up in Palm Springs, CA and my mother in Provo, UT (first generation of immigration). Father came to Utah to build the Geneva Steel Plant for WW Clyde Construction (Boise, ID) after working on the Hoover Dam. I have a sister (Skyline 64, deceased), and 2 brothers (Skyline 71) and (Skyline 79). . • VP Technical Development, Computer Marketing Corp 1978-1981 startup, IBM mainframe OS development, accounting packages, installed hardware and software all over the US and some foreign installations. Took Dave Dutson (Skyline 74) on his first training mission to Saudi Arabia for the summer of 1981, took other trips to Greece (ran from Marathon to Athens), Germany (Octoberfest in Munich, Munich Olympic stadium, and paid our respects at Dachau). Went to Mexico during the Falklands War and got denigrated in Spanish. . • Professor, UofU and Texas A&M 1981-1991, took professional trips to Norway, England, Scotland, and Wales and stayed with cousins. . • Monitored underground weapons testing as a civilian contractor for the Air Force. Provided technical support for the Community Air Monitoring Programs at Hanford (Washington) and the Nevada Test Site during underground weapons testing until it was terminated in 1993. . • Controlled Substance Whistle blower in Sandy, UT where I witnessed a creepy cop (now deceased) running interference for the dealers and users 1983-1991 and easily defended myself against false accusations . • Nuclear Whistle blower in Idaho 1991-1994 for illegal distribution of controlled quantities of radio-biotracers which were being used to optimize a portable anthrax processor, (pre-9/11-2001 Anthrax) . • Fulbright Senior Scholar and Visiting Professor at the Belarusian State University and Belarusian Academy of Sciences, Minsk, Belarus 1994-1995 (US Senate Program administered by the US Dept of State). Studied the Chernobyl fallout victims and medical isotope production at the Sosny Nuclear Research Center. I speak enough Russian to get around on my own. . • Director of Nuclear Reactor Division at ANSTO outside Sydney Australia overseeing operations on the old HiFAR reactor and construction of the new OPAL reactor for medical isotope production and fundamental nuclear physics research, 1996-2001 . • Taught Physics, Computer Science, and Astronomy at SKYLINE HIGH SCHOOL 2001-2002 . • Taught Earth Sciences at MATHESON JR HIGH SCHOOL 2002-2003 • Consultant at National Labs, (1) Idaho National Lab, Chem Plant, reprocessing naval reactor fuels (skiing at Targhee), and (2) Los Alamos National Lab, N-2 Advanced Nuclear Technology Group, weapons issues (skiing at Taos) • Univ of Utah, Marriott Library, Special Collections, Downwinders of Utah Archive, Dec 18, 2017 Interview. https://collections.lib.utah.edu/ark:/87278/s63530h1 . • Medical Isotopes by Precision Engineering, Inc. for medical imaging, 2010-present building my über-reactor in what looks to be Herriman, UT -- General Contractor: Layton Construction, Architect: Architectural Nexus, Facility and Core Design: me, Fuel Manufacturer: General Atomics, Partners: colleagues a...(read more) |
